Italy, we knows, is on of the best place to found wedding venues Italy. Couples around the world want to get married in my beautiful country.
There are three main areas to choose from:
- Lake Como:
- Tuscan hills
- City of Florence
- Wedding venues Italy Amalfi Coast
So let’s start to discover the best wedding venues Italy!
This area is located in the north of Italy. Is one of the most recognizable place for the wedding industry. Is a really beautiful and luxury place where you can find the best wedding venue in the world. This place allow me to be very creative. I think that is the water that itself and the beauty that surround the lake. One of my favourite wedding venues are those two:
Villa Regina Teodolinda
This Villa is really a gem! you can reach the villa from a street. It is located in Laglio on the Como Lake and when you arrived you can see a breathtaking view. This wedding venue is perfect if you want an elegant and luxury location on the Como Lake. The rooms are really beautiful and perfect for guest and for the getting ready. When I was there I really loved the size of the room so there is enough space for the brides and bridesmaids and the photos comes out gorgeous!
After the getting ready usually the ceremony takes place at the villa Balbianello, a stunning and unique wedding location in front of the Villa. Guest and spouses take the boat to reach the Villa Balbianello. When it finish the dinner take place outiside the villa regina teodolinda, with a view to the lake and a unique attention to detail.
“At the Villa, beauty is the rule, as told by the story of the Italy’s Queen Teodolinda, who lived here from 589 to 616. She was a charming and clever lady, a great patron, so much loved by her people that she became beatified Saint Queen Teodolinda. It’s a story become legend: somebody tells that during spring nights the old oleanders’smell fill up the villa’s rooms that once upon a time was a castle”.
Grand hotel Tremezzo
It is an huge luxury hotel on the west coast of Como Lake. The suites are big enough for getting ready.
But while a was there was great taking photos in this Luxury hotel.
“Standing tall on the shores of the lake, the art nouveau façade hides magnificent halls, elegant dining rooms and a grand staircase. All done up in plush period décor – with the modern luxuries you’d expect from the most comfortable of homes, of course – to take you back to those marvelous years of excessive joy and treat you to an unforgettable vacation.”
Usually if you choose this place for getting ready you can’t miss the Villa Balbianello for ceremony. Is something unique that you would like to have in your memories
Few minutes from the Grand Hotel Tremezzo is located the Villa Sola Cabiati – their own private villa – an aristocratic residence available for events up to twelve, perfect for elopement. It’s a perfect place to have an elopement there
If you want something more in the nature but with a classy style, Tuscan Hills is a wedding venues for you. Surrounded by the nature, Tuscan hill is the perfect background that you would have in your photos. My favourite wedding venue that is inside the hill in Tuscany is The Lazy Olive.
The Lazy Olive
This wedding venue is perfect if you don’t want a formal wedding instead you dream of something more intimate with your closer friend and your family. Is an organic Tuscan farm stay venue.
with incredible views over the Siena rolling hills. You can delight your guest with amazing Italian food, and you can be sure that you will treat perfect from the owners.
Everything is create with love and full of details with a bohemian, rustic chic touch.
Is a place that suit perfect for me as a photographer: the ceremony is always outside and the beauty of the hills and the give much more charms to the photos. And the view is breathtaking so you can do a photo sessions with a lot of freedom and creativity. Wedding there are small and is something that i really like. Intimate and personal. With the people that you really care it means for me a lot of emotions.
This venue is magical and every time that I worked there it was a pleasure and a really full of inspiration experience. People there are kind and the view and the locations is intimate but not small.
“The Villa di Catignano was built at the end of the 17th century by the ancestor of the currents proprietors, Quinto Settano, pseudonym of Monsignor Lodovico Sergardi, a writer and a lover of the arts. The small borough already existed in 1500 with the name of “Clatinianum” as a property of Sergardi family.
Villa Catignano dominates a beautiful Giardino all’Italiana (italian renaissance garden) decorated with statues representing the four season, and the medieval towers of Siena being part of the scenario. You can see my full wedding there here and here
